POTATO WAFFLES

Potato waffles are a delicious and easy way to use up leftover mashed potatoes. Crispy outside and fluffy in the middle. These potato waffles not only taste amazing, but they are a super fun meal to serve to your family.
They are a healthy alternative to the classic hash brown and make a great breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Serve them simply topped with soured cream and chives or fully loaded with toppings!

  • Refined flour (sieved) ¼ cup
  • Onion (finely cut) 1
  • Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 2
  • Black pepper (crushed) ¼ tsp
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Green onion for garnish

  • Heat waffle iron, mix mashed potatoes with fried onion, flour, eggs, black pepper & salt.
  • Pour a little potato mixture on waffle iron & cook with its lid covered.
  • Cook until golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes.
