PEAS A LA FLAMANDE






This is a real tribute to garden freshness, a way to make the simple pea a superstar. Peas a la flamande recipe is a combo of peas and carrots, Use richly flavoured carrots for this simple recipe to spruce up your veg. You would love the duo of peas and carrot.





Ingredients:





  • Peas 250 gm
  • Carrots 250 gm
  • Butter 50 gm
  • White pepper & salt according to taste




Method:





  • Wash & peel the carrots & cut into quarter inch thick slices.
  • Shell the peas.
  • Boil the water. Add peas & cook for 10 minutes & then add carrots, cook until tender. Drain off the water.
  • Heat butter in a pan. Saute the vegetable.
  • Add the seasoning.
