Looking for a delicious new side dish? Try these easy and delicious Potato Roses. They are perfect with your favourite steak or chicken dinner!
Ingredients:
- Chicken breast (cut into strips) 8
- Potatoes (sliced) 3
- Garlic powder 1 tsp
- Thyme 1 tsp
- Rosemary 1 tsp
- Black pepper (crushed) ½ tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Cheese (grated) as accompaniment
Method:
- Mix potatoes with oil, garlic powder, thyme, black pepper & salt & set aside for a little while.
- Lay one chicken strip & spread potato slices over it, shape into a rose by rolling.
- Grease an oven tray & put potato roses on it, cover its top with aluminium foil.
- Place in preheated oven at 180°C, bake for 30 minutes & remove.
- Remove aluminium foil & sprinkle rosemary & cheese on top, bake for 10 more minutes & serve.
